Description
Native wheat starch is a fine, white powder derived from the ground wheat grain. It consists mainly of starch, a polysaccharide used by the plant as a storage form of energy. Native wheat starch is widely used in various industrial and food applications because of its binding, gel-forming and thickening properties.

- Melting Point: The melting point of starch is generally not fixed, but starch begins to gel at 60-70°C in water.
