Applications
Sodium hypophosphite is applied in various ways, for instance:
1. Chemical Industry
Used as a reducer in chemical nickel plating without electric current. These coatings improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of metal and plastic surfaces and are widely used in automotive, electronics, aerospace and mechanical engineering.
2. Water Treatment
Sodium hypophosphite is applied as a reducing agent to neutralize contaminants such as chlorine, heavy metals and oxidants.

Added to polymers and plastics to reduce flammability and as an antioxidant.
4. Paper & Textile Industry
It is used at bleaching and for stabilizing dyes.
