Description
Phosphoric acid is an inorganic acid that belongs to the phosphoroxo acids. In industry, it is often supplied as an aqueous solution. It is a colorless, odorless, solid at room temperature, but it dissolves well in water to form an acid-reactive solution. Phosphoric acid is mainly used as a reducing agent and as a raw material for the production of phosphonates and other phosphorus-containing chemicals.
