Applications
Calcium chloride 2AQ is applied in various ways, for instance:
1. Refrigeration & Chemical Industry.
Used as a brine liquid in refrigeration plants and as a desiccant for gases and liquids in chemical processes.
2. Road management & smoothing
Calcium chloride dramatically lowers the freezing point of water and is used as a de-icing agent on roads, bike paths and airports. On unpaved roads and construction sites, it is used to control dust formation by attracting moisture from the air.
3. Construction & concrete sector
Used as a hardening accelerator in concrete, especially at low temperatures, to reduce the hardening time.
4. Oil & gas industry
In drilling fluids for stabilizing wells and regulating density.
