Description

Synthetic tartaric acid is an artificially produced version of natural tartaric acid. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries. Synthetic tartaric acid is identical to natural tartaric acid in terms of chemical composition and properties, but it is produced via synthetic methods rather than extraction from grapes or other fruits. This Shape of tartaric acid is often produced from the fermentation of sugar or other carbohydrates.

Applications

Tartaric acid (synthetic) is applied in various ways, for instance:

1. Pharmaceutical Industry

In the Pharmaceutical Industry, synthetic tartaric acid is used as an excipient for the production of salts and as a component in drug formulations, such as in aspirin. It is also used at the preparation of specific active ingredients and salts for Pharmaceutical use.

2. Cosmetics

It is occasionally used in skin care products for its exfoliating properties, which help remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture.

3. Food Industry

Synthetic tartaric acid is widely used as an acidity regulator, stabilizer and antioxidant in the food industry. It is used in baking powders, beverages, candy and gelatin to regulate acidity and improve product Grade.

4. Chemical Industry

Synthetic tartaric acid is used as a starting material for the production of several chemical compounds, including potassium tartrate and potassium bitartrate, which find Applications in Agriculture and other industrial processes.
