Description

Sodium gluconate is the sodium salt of gluconic acid, an organic acid that occurs naturally and is derived from glucose. It is a white, crystalline powder that is highly soluble in water and virtually odorless and tasteless. Because of its strong chelating properties, sodium gluconate is widely used in various industrial sectors.
